FUNCTION AND APPLICATION
Water temperature sensor installed in the car engine cylinder or the the water jacket of cylinder cover,
and direct contact with cooling water, used to detect the temperature of the cooling water.
The water temperature sensor internal adopt negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor composition
(temperature lower, but the higher resistance, otherwise the lower resistance).
 
PRINCIPLE OF WORK
When the engine's cooling water temperature change, the corresponding changes of the sensor internal
thermal resistance, the lower temperature, the higher resistance; otherwise the lower, electric
control unit according to this change measured engine cooling water temperature and make the corresponding
treatment:
1. Fixed injection quantity; When the temperature is low then increase injection quantity.
2. Fixed ignition advance Angle; when temperature low increase ignition advance Angle, high temperature,
to prevent deflagration, delayed.
3. Influence Idle speed control valve ,when temperature is low,the electric control unit according to
the water temperature sensing signal control Idle speed control valve action and improve speed turn.
